Ropes Staff - Residential Job Overview
Ropes staff have primary responsibility for running all challenge course related activities. This includes teaching ropes related classes and activities as well as taking care of and properly maintaining all climbing equipment. These staff can choose to reside in cabins with other staff (not campers) or in cabins in with campers. Ropes Staff also assist with evening activities and typically also lead other activities including archery, sports and outdoor living skills.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be 18 years old or be a 17-year-old high school graduate by the first day of camp. Most staff have completed at least one year of college. You must be physically and mentally capable of being the primary care-giver for and supervising 8-16 year old children in an active, residential camp environment. |
